About

I am an educator and proud to be one. I have been in education for 27 years as a teacher, coach, administrator, and adjunct college professor.

I enjoy books. I believe that as much as a reader chooses his/her book, sometimes a book chooses it’s reader.

The same idea can be said about leadership.  Do you choose leadership or does leadership choose you?  Either way…

Leadership is a journey that you really never know when it began and you will seek it the rest of your days.

I am passionate about educational leadership and enjoy exploring great leadership ideas and writing about them. We, as educators, are the only ones who can change education. If we do not, then society determines what education should look like. We must have a paradigm shift to where educators have value and a voice.

I am a Husband, Dad, Avid Reader, Leadership Thinker, Educator & Adjunct College Professor. I like playing golf, cooking, yard work, Christian studies, trivia, drinking coffee, traveling, and many other things…  To most of my students I am known as the “sock-less professor.”

Please contact me if you have any questions or thoughts on leadership you would like to discuss.

Go be a great educator and leader today… Our future needs it…

Remember… Think Leadership and Be For Others
